Bucs' William Gholston leaves game against Saints with neck injury

NEW ORLEANS -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end William Gholston suffered a neck injury against the New Orleans Saints at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in the third quarter and will not return.

Gholston was loaded onto a stretcher and carted off the field after being on the ground for several minutes. He was taken to University Medical Center New Orleans, which is just minutes from the Superdome.

It is unclear how exactly Gholston was injured.

Trainers unscrewed Gholston's facemask but left his helmet on. He did show movement in his legs.
