Bucs Open Spot on Active Roster

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made two roster moves on Tuesday that will probably lead to two more before the team takes the practice field on Wednesday.

First-year safety Isaiah Johnson was waived from the active roster while second-year defensive end was released from the practice squad. That leave an open spot on each list, and those are generally filled quickly. The Buccaneers begin preparing for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers with a practice on Wednesday afternoon.

Johnson was promoted from the Buccaneers' practice squad before their Week Five game against the New England Patriots, as the team was dealing with injuries to safeties Keith Tandy and T.
