TAMPA — Saints quarterback Drew Brees is virtually impossible to keep out of the end zone. For 21 straight games against the Bucs, he threw at least one touchdown pass.
That streak ended against a rejuvenated Tampa Bay defense Sunday night in the Bucs' 16-11 win over the Saints.
For the second straight game, safety Keith Tandy, playing for injured starter Chris Conte, intercepted a pass to seal the game with 51 seconds left in the game. This time, he picked off Brees at midfield on fourth-and-1. It was Tandy's INT that cemented the win last Sunday at San Diego.
