TAMPA, Fla. -- On Tuesday, the NFL announced selections for the 2017 Pro Bowl. Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy and wide receiver Mike Evans were both named to the Pro Bowl. It's McCoy's fifth-straight selection and Evans' first. Linebackers Kwon Alexander and Lavonte David, punter Bryan Anger and cornerback Brent Grimes were named alternates.
"This is an honor that can never get old or be taken for granted," McCoy said in a statement. "I have to commend and thank all of my teammates for all their hard work and dedication to this team and this game.
