TAMPA, Fla. -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter stood on the sideline on with his arms folded, shaking his head in disbelief before staring down at the ground.
The guy he'd just awarded the kicking job to, Nick Folk, missed a 47-yard field goal in the fourth quarter against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He'd also missed an extra point on the opening drive, the same tragic scenario that befell Roberto Aguayo the week before that ultimately sent him packing.
Certainly Koetter thought this was all behind them.
