Bucs' Bobby Rainey earns NFC special teams honor

TAMPA — Tampa Bay return specialist Bobby Rainey approached coach Lovie Smith before Sunday's game against Jacksonville and told him he was going to have a big game. It has become a weekly routine for Rainey, who is putting positive vibes into his mind before the game in hopes it transfers into the game.

On Sunday, it did with Rainey averaging 28.3 yards on three punt returns, including a 58-yarder, in the victory against the Jaguars. Two of his returns led to points in the 38-31 victory, while his 85 punt return yards for the game are the most by a Tampa Bay player since 2008.
