Bucs address national anthem protests, vow to 'stick together no matter what'

TAMPA, Fla. -- With national anthem protests continuing to be part of the football landscape as the NFL regular season approaches, Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter called a team meeting Tuesday to address racial and social issues.

"The main thing that came out of that meeting on my side, is that we have to respect each other’s opinion, even if we don’t agree with it," Koetter said Wednesday on “Mike & Mike” on ESPN Radio. "I hope everyone can appreciate that there are some things that need to be said behind closed doors, and the players have to feel free to speak their mind sometimes without any threat of repercussions.
