Mike Kaye of First Coast News, citing a league source, reports that the Buccaneers are working out free agent DE Tavaris Barnes on Tuesday.
Barnes, 25, wound up signing on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson back in May of 2015. He managed to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season but was waived in the days leading up to the 2016 NFL Draft.
The Seahawks signed him to a contract just a few days later but unfortunately waived him with an injury designation during the preseason and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.
