The Buccaneers don’t need quarterback Ryan Griffin.

Jason Licht has been nothing short of spectacular so far this offseason for the Buccaneers. After bringing back all of the starters after winning the Super Bowl last season, it looked like a bad signing wouldn’t come. Unfortunately, Ryan Griffin changes that narrative.

Griffin is not a bad backup quarterback. In fact, he could be a great one. But the fact that we haven’t seen him in a legitimate second role other than once in his career is concerning.
