The have begun to put in work for their Wild Card matchup against the on Monday Night Football. And on the first day of practice, all the attention was on the status of Baker Mayfield.
Mayfield was officially listed as a non-participant in Thursday’s and if the team was hitting the field, head coach Todd Bowles said his veteran quarterback wouldn’t be out there.
“He would not have practiced today,” Bowles told the media on Thursday. “Hopefully we’ll see him tomorrow.”
Left tackle Tristan Wirfs (illness) and linebacker K.J. Britt (calf) were also listed as non-participants in today’s report.
