The 3-6 Tampa Bay Buccaneers face the 4-5 Miami Dolphins today, finally, ten weeks later than originally planned. There’s no hurricane or other natural disaster scheduled to hit Miami this time, so let’s assume that these two teams will actually kick off at 1 p.m. ET today.
The Bucs finally broke their losing streak last week, after five consecutive losses, and hope to not start a new one this week. Dirk Koetter’s job kind of depends on it—he won’t be fired if the Bucs lose today, but it certainly won’t help his chances at the end of the season—but the Bucs’ season doesn’t: they have essentially no shot of reaching the playoff.
