Buccaneers sign Zack Hocker to replace Roberto Aguayo

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed kicker Zack Hocker, the team announced today. Hocker was a seventh-round pick in 2014 and has bounced around the league since then, mostly on practice squads and offseason rosters.

Hocker has played in eight games, all of them in 2015 for the St. Louis Rams and New Orleans Saints, respectively. He hit 10 of 14 field goals and 11 of 12 extra points (one blocked), and averaged a respectable 64.8 yards per kickoff. Those misses in New Orleans got him kicked off the team, which may have been a bit premature.
