The Buccaneers got the first step going by beating the Jets in the friendly confines of Raymond James Stadium this past week.
It wasn’t an impressive win, but it was a win. The defense
stepped up with six sacks, and Brent Grimes came down with an interception which at least stopped the little momentum Josh McCown and his offense had built up.
Now, with a road trip to Miami, it’s perfectly feasible for Dirk Koetter’s team to string together consecutive wins for the first time this year.
Of course, players and coaches will tell you they aren’t thinking about winning streaks, they’re just focused on the next game.
