Well, that didn’t take long. Four games into the season and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have yet another new kicker. This time it’s Patrick Murray, who won today’s kicking tryouts according to his agents.
Presumably, this means the Bucs are saying goodbye to Nick Folk. The veteran kicker beat out Roberto Aguayo in preseason, but managed to miss five field goals and two extra points in just four games. Whoopsydaisy. Folk was brought in as veteran competition for Roberto Aguayo, last year’s second-round pick (!) who is currently without a team because he couldn’t hack it, either.
