Is it any surprise? I mean, at all? It shouldn’t be. The fan voted Buccaneers Play of the Year award has been narrowed down to two and both plays involve Jameis Winston and Mike Evans.
Again, anyone surprised?
Winston and Evans took a massive leap forward in 2016 as far as quarterback/wide receiver combos are concerned. Evans was selected to his first ever Pro Bowl after leading the NFL in receptions for a first down as well as finishing in the top five in receptions, yards, touchdowns, and targets.
With the Winston-Evans connection leading the way, the Bucs surged from 3-5 to a 9-7 finish, winning five games in a row along the way.
