Quite possibly the best cornerback in the entire National Football League has now hit the trade block as Jalen Ramsey has requested a trade from the Jacksonville Jaguars. Despite how enticing it may be, the Buccaneers must stay far away from any potential trade discussion surrounding Ramsey with the Jaguars for a multitude of reasons.
For starters, the Jaguars are asking for two first round picks for Ramsey’s services. He is only 24 years old and is already atop the highest echelon of cornerbacks in the league. For a team like the Buccaneers, who may need to invest a top pick in a quarterback in at least 2020 if Jameis Winston continues to struggle, these picks are all too valuable.
