Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Buccaneers are making calls on Friday to set up tryouts for free agent kickers after Nick Folk missed three more field goals during Thursday’s loss to the Patriots.
According to Rapoport, Tampa Bay will likely wait to see how the free agent kickers perform before cutting Folk.
Folk, 32, is a former sixth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2007. He spent over two years in Dallas before he signed on with the Jets in 2010 as a free agent.
Folk was entering the final year of his four-year, $12 million contract that included $2.
