Fans and small media have been raving about Kwon Alexander since he snatched the starting middle linebacker job in his first year as a member of the Buccaneers.
He was leading the team in tackles in 2015 when he missed the last four games due to a suspension, and led the entire league in solo tackles the following year.
As Schrager points out in his rankings, Alexander was not named to the NFL’s Top-100 list this year, nor has he been named to a Pro-Bowl or All-Pro list as of yet.
Still, none of this kept the popular football analyst from making Alexander his top breakout player among non-skill position players.
