During his press conference on Monday, Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter said that Jameis Winston would be the team’s starting quarterback for the team’s Week six matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
It’s not a surprising move, but at least the question is already out of the way. There will be no speculation or discussion this week. The Bucs are Winston’s team again.
In his first action of the season, Winston played a mop-up role after the Bears routed the Bucs in the first half. He completed 16-of-20 passes for 145 yards, with two interceptions and a touchdown.
