Buccaneers: Five players in danger of missing the final 53-man roster

Training camp is always a tough time for some guys in the NFL. With the exception of the sure-fire starters and top draft picks, job security is low. Players are cut all throughout the preseason, then even more are let go once the roster is trimmed to 53 men. The Buccaneers already cut a few guys, including 2016 second-round pick Roberto Aguayo. They will obviously have more coming, which begs the question: who will they be?

As far as evaluating talent and potential, the preseason is an imperfect measuring stick. However, it’s one of just a few options for NFL general managers.
