Buccaneers-Dolphins could be moved as Hurricane Irma strengthens

The NFL may have to start the season by moving the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins. With Hurricane Irma strengthening to a category four hurricane and set to make landfall in south Florida, the game is currently still scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday in Miami.

No decisions have been made yet, but it seems likely that the Bucs and Dolphins will have to play their season opener on Friday or even Thursday, according to the Associated Press. The game could also move to a different site and stay on Sunday, though that outcome seems less likely.
