Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports that the Buccaneers are discussing the possibility of shutting down QB Jameis Winston for “a couple weeks to let his shoulder heal.”
- Stroud expects the Buccaneers to officially activate QB Ryan Griffin from injured reserve this week.
Winston reinjured his shoulder during the first half of Sunday’s game against the Saints and was replaced by Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Winston originally suffered an AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder a few weeks ago.
