Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians: 'Referees aren't held accountable'

Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians didn't mince words Monday when he opened his news conference criticizing officials for an early whistle that cost the Bucs a go-ahead touchdown late in Sunday's 27-23 loss at the Tennessee Titans.

With 3:45 to go in the fourth quarter, the Titans lined up for a fake field goal. Bucs linebacker Devin White tackled Titans punter Brett Kern, stripping him of the ball. Safety Andrew Adams recovered it and ran it in for what would have been a touchdown. But an early whistle blew the play dead and calling a turnover on downs.
