The Buccaneers certainly haven’t been strangers to adversity in the last week-plus, that’s for sure. They were absolutely dominated by the Saints last Sunday night en route to losing their NFC South lead, and things haven’t gotten much better since.
Tampa Bay sorely missed Ali Marpet (concussion protocol) in last week’s loss and looked to be on the right track in terms of getting him back this week, but he was ruled out on Saturday. That meant starting A.Q. Shipley at center and sliding Ryan Jensen to guard for the first time this season.
