The new league year to officially sign players begins Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers got ahead of things and were able to re-sign wide receiver Mike Evans to a two-year deal Monday and quarterback Baker Mayfield to a three-year deal Sunday.
