In order to make good fantasy football decisions, splits become more imperative as we get further into the season.
A good example is the research that ensued once news broke that Adrian Peterson had been traded to the Arizona Cardinals. I immediately began skimming through numberFire's new Snap Counts tool to see who might receive that vacated opportunity.
Peterson averaged a season-low 8.11% snap share in Week 4 before getting dealt. In that brief stint, though, he averaged 6.75 rushes per game. That may not seem like much, but those touches have to go to someone, and the primary benefactors (for the time being, at least) appear to be both Mark Ingram and rookie Alvin Kamara.
