Syracuse wide receiver Tyshawn Russell and defensive lineman Rashard Perry will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgeries, Fran Brown announced on ESPN Radio Thursday. They’re SU’s second and third season-ending injuries suffered within the last month, along with Steve Angeli tearing his Achilles.
Russell transferred to Syracuse from South Carolina in December, adding to an already deep receiver room. Through SU’s first three games, Russell’s impact was limited.
