Syracuse, N.Y. — The Syracuse University women's basketball team rolls into the NCAA Tournament Final Four as one of the hottest teams in the nation.
Syracuse (29-7) has won 15 of its last 16. While that's a significant run on its own, the more important game was the one that started it all.
A bad loss home to Louisville, 71-53, on Jan. 25. It was the team's second in a row, after dropping a contest to Notre Dame 90-62.
On a conference call Wednesday, Orange coach Quentin Hillsman pointed to the Louisville debacle as the turning point of the season.
