Syracuse, N.Y. -- Three Syracuse lacrosse players have been named to Inside Lacrosse's 2018 Face-Off Yearbook preseason All-America list.
Defender Nick Mellen and midfielder Brendan Bomberry snagged spots on the third team while long-stick middie Austin Fusco earned honorable mention honors.
Mellen was tabbed to the team for the second-straight season. He missed all of last season because of injury.
Bomberry had a strong first season with the Orange in 2017, where he started in all 16 games after transferring from Denver. He's the Orange's returning leader in points on 28 goals and 10 assists.
