While you spent the weekend worrying about the future of the Syracuse Orange football program you might have missed the fact that this weekend marked five years since Syracuse won two national titles in one weekend.
The Syracuse men’s cross-country team got things started when they won the program’s first title since 1951. They were followed the next day by field hockey who became the first Orange women’s program to win a NCAA Championship.
We were able to sit down with the top six runners from the Syracuse XC team together last night to talk about that magical season and their victory over the two-time defending champion Colorado Buffaloes.
