The Syracuse Orange women’s lacrosse team is having an amazing 2021.
They’re 11-1 with six wins over top-10 teams, and a lone loss against the undefeated, No. 1 team in the country (North Carolina).
Their two stars, Meaghan Tyrrell and Megan Carney, are having incredible seasons and are currently on pace to join some of the greatest individual seasons in program history.
But on Wednesday, Syracuse got news that might make 2022 just as amazing, or possibly even better.
Emily Hawryschuk, the team star who tore her ACL one game into this season, announced on her Twitter and Instagram that she plans to return to the field in 2022 for her sixth year with the Orange.
