Syracuse Orange women’s basketball added yet another opponent to its 2017-18 schedule on Wednesday. The Orange will play the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks on November 16 at the Carrier Dome.
Syracuse last faced the Hawks in 2013 -- a runaway 113-42 win at the Dome. It was the most points the program’s ever scored, and its largest margin of victory. SU’s 4-0 all-time against Maryland Eastern Shore.
The Hawks were 13-16 last year, and 6-10 in the MEAC (11th overall). They’ll also bring back leading scorer Ciani Byrom, who averaged 14.6 points per game in 12 contests last year.
