#17 Syracuse defeats North Carolina State to advance to the ACC Tournament semifinals.
The 17th-ranked Syracuse Orange's barrage of 3-pointers and pressing defense was enough to beat North Carolina State 80-61.
The Orange shot 44 percent from the 3-point line, at 12-for-27. They also forced 18 turnovers and scored 29 points off of those. Three-point shooting and causing turnovers have been key for Syracuse this season. In order to beat Louisville, tomorrow's opponent, they will need to hit 3s, and create lots of turnovers.
Syracuse had five scorers in double figures against NC State.
