Syracuse women’s basketball beats Princeton, 90-61

The Syracuse Orange women’s basketball team defeated the Princeton Tigers, 92-61 in Friday’s game in Cancun, Mexico. A strong performance from behind the arc led the Orange to its highest scoring game of the season.

SU was in control of the game from start to finish. Syracuse lead by as many as 33, while Princeton’s largest lead was only five points.

The Orange went 15-of-29 (51.7 percent) front three-point range and this helped the team pull away from Princeton in the third quarter. SU was efficient through the entire game. The team finished 34-of59 from the field — a very high 57.
