Syracuse women’s basketball adds Rhode Island’s Elemy Colome as grad transfer

The Syracuse Orange women’s basketball team already has some top-10 aspirations and a ton of returning talent. This week, coach Quentin Hillsman also added to what should be a very formidable group in 2019-20.

According to her Twitter feed, the Rhode Island Rams’ Elemy Colome will join the Orange as a grad transfer for this coming year. Colome, a guard, averaged 14.1 points per game last season to lead the Rams. She shot 40.3% from the field, 28.6% from three and 77.1% from the free throw line. Colome also picked up 3.
