After a pretty standard approach to the first two games of the 2018 season in terms of uniforms, the Syracuse Orange appear to be mixing it up a bit for this wekeend’s matchup against the Florida State Seminoles.
Syracuse will be donning white helmets, orange jerseys and orange pants on Saturday — with the additional wrinkle of the orange chrome facemasks, which were introduced last season against LSU. Coincidentally, that game down in Baton Rouge was also the first (and only) time the Orange have won this white/orange/orange combination. As you know, they lost that game, 35-26 last fall.
