Syracuse, N.Y. -- No college's student body shows more school spirit than Syracuse University, according to the Princeton Review.
The group released its annual best-of rankings Monday, and Syracuse was named No. 1 for students who pack the stadium, providing the university's athletic department with a free marketing gift on the eve of the new academic calendar.
The methodology is based on a survey of 137,000 students from 382 schools across the country, the group notes. They answer questions under several categories such as academics, administration and student body life.
Syracuse this year was also named the top college newspaper.
