Syracuse signees Joe Girard, Brycen Goodine to compete in high school contests at Final Four

The Syracuse Orange won’t be anywhere near the Final Four this year, so many of you have probably already opted out of the NCAA Tournament. However, it seems there could be a reason or two to tune in now.

Two 2019 Syracuse men’s basketball signees — Joe Girard III and Brycen Goodine — will be participating in the High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships on Friday, April 5. Girard, who scores at insane clip from outside, will be in the three-point contest, while Goodine (who stands at 6-foot-4) will participate in the dunk contest. Though I’m obviously happy to see both in action, I’m probably most curious about Goodine’s dunking ability given his size.
