Back in 2015, not many probably predicted how much freshman quarterback Eric Dungey would end up meaning to the Syracuse football team during his career.
As a senior this year, Dungey played a huge part in the Orange having their best record since 2001. On Friday, Syracuse sent off their senior quarterback into the sunset with a convincing 34-18 win over the West Virginia Mountaineers in the 2018 Camping World Bowl.
The victory is the Orange’s first in a bowl game since 2013 and they will also finish the season with 10 wins for just the second time in the 21st century.
