After recently seeing their national ranking in both the AP Top 25 and the Coaches Poll move up this week, the Syracuse football team found out on Tuesday that they also had a new spot in the latest College Football Playoff rankings.
In the most recent top 25 poll released for this season’s College Football Playoff, the Orange are sitting comfortably in the No. 12 spot.
During the past two weeks, Syracuse has seen their spot in the College Football Playoff rankings go from 19th to 12th. The Orange earning wins in each of their last two games and other teams around the nation suffering losses are two of the biggest factors in the school seeing their name continue to rise in the rankings.
