Syracuse Orange men’s basketball alumnus and Basketball Hall of Fame member Dave Bing will join the Syracuse Athletics Ring of Honor on Saturday, January 27 when the program takes on the NC State Wolfpack at the JMA Wireless Dome.
The Ring of Honor was established in 2020 to honor the most outstanding student-athletes or coaches from Syracuse University.
Bing, who played 76 games for the Syracuse men’s basketball team from 1964 to 1966, reenergized what was then a struggling program into the spotlight. Bing averaged 24.8 points and 10.
