The Syracuse Orange women's ice hockey team completed their six-game road trip with a 5-1 loss against No. 4 Clarkson at Cheel Arena. This is the second and final time these two teams have met this season. Clarkson (11-1-2) won the last matchup in Syracuse as well, 3-1. The Orange (5-6-1) is now 0-3 versus ranked opponents this season.
The Golden Knights lit up the scoreboard early. Nearly three minutes into the game, Genevieve Bannon rebounded a shot off of the pipe and put it into a wide open net.
