Syracuse, N.Y. — Kaleb Joseph arrived at Syracuse expecting to be the next on Syracuse's list of great point guards, inheriting a baton passed down by early NBA departures Michael Carter-Williams and Tyler Ennis. Two years later, he's become the first player in SU history relegated from full-time starter one year to less than 200 minutes the next, sparking conversation about his future at the school less than two years after he arrived.
Joseph was passed over for the starting point guard spot during the offseason by Michael Gbinije and, during the second half of the year, surrendered the backup guard spot to Frank Howard.
