Syracuse football's final injury report ahead of the team's home game against Duke on Saturday afternoon notes that 10 Orange players are listed as out in week five.
The 10 'Cuse players are as follows:
•Redshirt senior wide receiver Umari Hatcher
•Redshirt sophomore wide receiver Tyshawn Russell
•Redshirt junior quarterback Steve Angeli (out for the remainder of the 2025 season)
•Freshman wide receiver Darius Johnson
•Redshirt senior linebacker Derek McDonald
•Redshirt junior defensive back Nate Prater
•Sophomore running back/return man Malachi James
•Freshman offensive lineman Jackson Iak
•Freshman offensive lineman Matthew Hawn
•Freshman wide receiver Julian McFadden
Even though four wide receivers are out, the Orange's WR room is extremely deep, so I'm not concerned about that position group.
