Syracuse football trainer Denny Kellington leaving to join Buffalo Bills

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Denny Kellington, Syracuse football's head athletic trainer, is leaving to join the Buffalo Bills in the coming weeks, SU Athletics announced internally on Tuesday.

Kellington has been a member of the Syracuse sports medicine staff since 2005. He was responsible for all phases of athletic training for the football program, as well as mentoring the graduate assistant athletic training staff.

Before coming to SU, Kellington served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for Ohio State field hockey and women's lacrosse from 2002-04. He also worked as an assistant athletic trainer for the Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europe (2002) and athletic training intern for the Denver Broncos (2000-02) after graduating from Oklahoma State with a Bachelor's degree in health and human performance in 2000.
