I think I speak on behalf of every Syracuse football fan on planet Earth, we all aged about 500 years following the latest contest against the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Over the last month it’s been a roller coaster for the Orange. The team heading in were 4-0 for the first time since 1991 and appeared destined for a historic season. Then two crippling losses back-to-back where Syracuse had opportunities to win, but didn’t.
What was wrong? Tough to admit, but Eric Dungey was wrong. He’s the senior leader of the Orange and will go down as one of the most prolific quarterbacks in program history.
