For the second time since 1975, an NFL Draft has come and gone without a single Syracuse player hearing his name called.
Prior to this weekend, expectations were that, at the very least, offensive tackle Sean Hickey and safety Durell Eskridge would be selected in the 2015 NFL Draft. But neither Hickey nor Eskridge was taken, marking the first time since 2008 that no SU player was drafted.
Eskridge and Hickey have since signed with teams as free agents -- Eskridge with the New York Jets and Hickey with the New Orleans Saints.
