Despite a tumultuous week that included the end of the Dino Babers era and the start of the search for the next coach, the Syracuse Orange overcame all the adversity and rallied this weekend to lock in a guaranteed bowl bid for the 2023 season.
Syracuse defeated Wake Forest 35-31 on Saturday to reach six wins on the year and end the year on a high note both for the program and our Duke’s Mayo Bowl O’Meter, which has certainly been throughout a lot. The pain was all worth it: the Orange are bowling and the Bowl O’Meter has reached peak twang.
