The Syracuse football program has lost a fourth player to the infamous transfer portal this offseason. The latest victim being linebacker Tim Walton.
For those who don’t know, here’s a quick refresher on the transfer portal:
- Thanks to a brand new rule in 2018, college athletes are allowed to put their name in the transfer portal without the permission of their college.
- It’s the first step in the transfer process and as soon as a player puts his name in the transfer portal other coaches can start talking to said player.
