One of the biggest additions this century comes via transfer from Oklahoma. Head coach of the Syracuse football team Dino Babers made the announcement that Abdul Adams was taking his talents to Central New York.
While Adams was with the Sooners, he was a big fish in an even bigger pond. Because of that he didn’t get to make the sort of impact he was looking for.
In 19 games Adams rushed for 825 yards and a touchdown. Hardly what Oklahoma was expecting out of the talented back.
Coming out of high school he was one of the most sought after running backs in the country.
